merry merry...
12.21.06 (7:30 pm)   [edit]
Well, my computer is toast... or so it seems. The APPLE store can fit me in sometime in 2008 if I'm lucky. In the meantime...I'm at the Grand Haven Library. I was thinking about saving to buy a new one anyway--you know to write my 'book' (choke-choke). Much to do with Christmas right around the corner. It looks as if it will not be white and THIS saddens me. :( Let it snow. Pretty please??? So, I am heading home to rest my weary bones. Thank you for your comments on the previous posts...I will respond ASAP. Merry, merry Christmas lovely blog friends. Love, Lori

Oh Lori, major bummer! :( I hope Santa brings you a new computer.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Love, Tammy

It is frustrating when your computer goes out. I lessen the frustration by using old, used computers that I buy at a secondhand store for less than $100. The one I/m using now has lasted for about a year, so I'm quite thrilled with it. Since I don't play the latest graphics intensive games, this computer serves me well. Come on down to Atlanta- I'll take you to the shop we'll get you back online!

You and yours have a great Christmas!

Merry Christmas, Lori. I'm so sorry to hear about your computer. I'm actually looking forward to my first green Christmas. I hope you get some snow though.

Lori: Sous le ciel brumeux et froid de Paris, je te souhaite une Noël heureuse et une Nouvelle Année pleine de bonheur.
Je ne t'oublie pas.

Lori -
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! Is your computer fixed yet?? Haven't seen any new entries for a while - and that's a shame because they are always so thought provoking! :-) Hurry back!!

In searching for info on Rossiter Worthington Raymond, I came across this site and began reading. "The Gift of the Magi - Rewritten" hit close to home. My sister had a bone marrow transplant on October 24, 2006. In my opinion - which differs from her medical team - she is not recovering. Thank you for sharing your experiences.

Here's what I do when my computer goes on the blink: I go to the local used computer store and buy another one. I pay $49 for an old, out-of-date Dell or Packard Bell that happens to work the internet just fine. I mean, how much power do you need to write, run some Bible software, and surf the internet? So, let's get on the ball, Lori. $49! We need you back here on t-blog.
